Gumout sent me to explore the technology scientific discipline behind Vaughn Gittin Jr's Formula Drift Ford Mustang. The engine used is a 410 cubic inch naturally aspirated Roush Yates V8 running on 110 octane fuel. The engine produces only about 840 horsepower as well as 740 human foot pounds of torque, alongside a max engine speed of 9,000 RPM.
